I think ASP is the most recommended brand. There arent any mods you need to do before getting U/D pullies either.

NO NO NO!!! MotoBlue makes a 42%. Gets you a tad more power transfer.

Well when I was looking into getting them, everyone said to get ASP.

Listen to 03YellowPony Turkeyboy, he knows what he's talking about.

I do apologize if it has nothing to do with it but I wanted to ask. Whenever I turn my steering wheel it makes that whiney noise as if you're out of power steering fluid but it's filled to the top. I took it to jiffy lube had all the liquids filled and they check for any leaks and everything was fine. I've been asking around and doing some reading and I've heard and read a lot about it maybe being a pulley that needs to be replaced to get rid of that whining noise. Again, I'm sorry if it's a different pulley or not a pulley at all.

Its just the power steering pump whining. I dont think it has anything to do with pulleys.

Time to update this old sticky.

42% pulleys are good for around an 8rwhp free up. 24% ASP is good for around a 5-6 rwhp free up. Both are made decently as far as quality goes, however, only one website, that I know of, sells the 42% pullies, and I "DO NOT" reccomend them to any person seeking out products. I've had bad problems with them, other people on the fourums had bad problems with them, and a buddy of mine at work has also had bad problems. Now does this mean you'll have bad problems, not necessarily, but there is a good chance you will. I say get the 24% ASP, as you can see, there is only a 2 or so rwhp difference, but the 24% is pretty much guranteed not to cause any charging issues because of a large stereo system, and they have many reputable vendors, one of which is autobadges.com.

Well wish you the best of luck, hopefully they've gotten their act together, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.

I think 25% is better then almost 50% ,even though 42% gives u more power its still safer to play with 25%

I F'n hate rpmoutlet. I had to send my stuff back because THEY made a mistake and got stuck paying the shipping. Their service sucks. I probably called them about 6 times a day for 2-3 days and sent many e-mail to the "manager". I will never buy another thing from them as long as I live. I live in michigan and I thought about going down there to kick someones A**. THEY SUCK!!!
