I just purchased a new Ford Racing 65mm throttle body (complete with ISC) for my 95 Mustang 5.0. When I accelerate quickly I am hearing an air sound, such as a vacuum leak. This is the second 65mm throttle body that I have installed and the second one that I have had that sounds like it has an air leak. I have replaced the throttle body gasket, but still has the sound. Also when you accelerate and let off the accelerator pedal, it seems to hold a higher engine rpm for a longer amount of time and takes longer to return to the normal idle of @950rpm. Has anybody else experienced such a problem? If so, what is the fix? or is this normal for an engine after you change throttle body size?

Do you have a CAI? If you do check to see if you ripped any of the couplings. I tore the coupling that went from the CAI to the throttle body and it sounded like I had one hell of a vacuum leak.
Yes, I have a BBK CAI. No, the rubber tubing is not ripped. I had this same problem when I installed a different 65mm throttle body before. I thought it was just a defective throttle body and replaced it with the stock unit, and the sound went away. It's got me baffled!
take some propane and spray it around the throttle body if you start to rev more then you have a leak and then you can pin point it.

If it was only that easy...... propane is not as widely used or readily available in Japan as it is in the states. May try some carb and choke cleaner spray. It used to work with my 67 Firebird when I suspected vacuum leaks.
