Anybody have an idea of how much money will be needed to reserve an 05 on May 17th?

Good luck guy... There are a pack of professional personal shoppers bidding up the prices like you wouldn't believe. Same thing happened to the New Beetle when it first came out and is still happening with the SSR.

Why? These things are gonna be mas produced like the rest of the Stangs? What is making these so special? The SSR is a limited production vehicle, I can understand why it would be more valuable.

I dunno... ya know how fads are. Like Elmo fighting at the We-B-Toyz and like how everyone that paid over 30G's for a Beetle are kicking themselves now.

Exactly... there's something to be said for having one of the first but it's a *short* lived euphoria. Like 5 or so months of blown up car payments.

Hey, do any of you guys drive any SVOs or Turbo cpupe Thunderbirds? I just got ahold of a 93' LX convertible and I'm trying to decide whether to go with the V8 or to go with an SVO/Turbo coupe setup. I could really care less how loud my car is. I am thinking about practicality and everyday drivability. However, if I can't find any parts for a turbo four stang, then I'm gonna have to go with a V8. If any of you guys happen to know any good places in TX to get SVO components, then please let me know.
