Default Need 98 Cobra info

Hey guys. I'm new here.

Getting a '98 Cobra this week and was wondering where I could find tech. specs. on the car. I've been told it has Aluminum Block. Was also wondering what kind of intake manifold I'm getting (assuming it's stock). Single or dual plane? What other characteristics of the motor should I know about?

It comes with a K&N CAI, eibachs, and 4:11s (I think) in the rear. Will post pics when I get 'er (and clean 'er up)

the motor is all aluminum. stock forged crank, VERY strong...weak parts-rods, pistons, rings, oil pump gears

Thanks. Anybody have any idea how much those mods will do for performance? I would guess the gears would be a big help and the CAI would add a couple horse?

ASAP after the inspection, as long as I don't change my mind. I'm kinda wondering if I'm getting a good deal. The guy wants 9000 to pay off his loan. Somethings up with the paint - it looked dirty so I licked my finger and rubbed it but it didn't clean. The car has been sitting in his garage for a year or so and I'm wondering if maybe the paint is oxidized and if I'm going to have a clear coat. Also, the car has 86000mi on it.

simply tell him you want to wash it yourself before purchase, if he has a problem with it, dont buy it!
