Default Turtle Wax Ice

I broke out the Cobra today and used a new product, Turtle Wax Ice..

I'm a die hard waxer.. I enjoy spending HOURS applying and taking off wax just to see the final result.. Well, my father, who is a Turtle Wax rep, told me about their new product, Ice.. Its a synthetic wax that you can use in the sunlight..

I got a sample and it is in a liquid form.. It almost looks like water but a little thicker.. Well I put it on REALLY easy and it came off even easier.. It leaves no white powder and nor did it leave any residue on the black trim parts..

I'll keep you posted on how the water beads up after a few days of driving it.. Over all it left the Cobra sparkling and made the red look dark.. Thumbs up so far.. Looks like great stuff!

i recently used it on my 06 black gt and it was REALLY splotchy. i buffed, and buffed, and buffed, and buffed untill i got it looking halfway decent. after that for about 3 weeks everytime i would dry my car after washing the splotchiness would show up again. the stuff really made the finish look "wet" like it says, but i am very reluctant to put any back on my car.

I used this stuff on my 99 Dodge Intrepid w/ 115k today.. I've spend so much time keeping my Cobra clean I havn't spent any time on my daily driver.. So, I decided to give it some loving today.. I used the Turtle Wax Ice and it really gave it a nice shine.. Although, the shine is only part of it.. It took me about 10 minutes to put it on and only about 15 minutes to take it off.. Its a pretty big car so that says alot.. It left no white powder and looks great..

Another A+ for this stuff if you ask me..

I posted some pics.. Not to shabby for a car with 115k and has spent most of its life out in the weather..

black is a pain in da arse color..you cannot get good results with waxing in the sun. Stick to Carnuba based waxes with black. You won't have any problems.

I still like the Turtle wax Ultra Gloss better. Its still easy to apply and take off and gives that wet look without any blotch's. Last longer than the Mequires or Nanowax I used, with better results. Looks fantastic on dark colors and black as well.

I'm waiting for mine to come in the mail. I saw this product on TV one early morning and thought I would give it a try since everyone said it was really easy to come off and you could apply it in direct sunlight. I have a black car also so I hope this product will make my car look ok. I have always used Eagle One and like the results I get from this product.
