im thinking of getting the ford lowering suspesion kit and i just was woundering would this really help my cars suspension, or is more of just for looks?

The Ford kits can definitely improve your suspension. Many ford shocks are made by Tokico, which are much better than your stock Motorcraft. Also the springs such as the B or C springs have a higher spring rate than stock, thus improving handling/performance...
