Default struts and shocks

I want maximum traction and was wondering whats the best set-up for the shocks and struts. I am looking at some Lakewoods 90/10 struts and 50/50 shocks. Is that the best set-up for hooking up. I'm also doing drag srpings already have sontrol arms and im doing sub frames. All I want to know if 50/50 shocks are better than the 70/30 shocks. Thanks.

Default RE: struts and shocks

I'm personally not a huge fan of lakewood shocks... we mostly specialize in street/road race type suspensions...

Although here is a clip of text from the Lakewood Catalog...

50/50 Series Rear (Street/Strip) Used to properly load the rear wheels and prevent overreaction
and wheel hop. This shock is the best all-around choice for vehicles with leaf or coil springs.

70/30 Series Struts (Street/Strip) Designed to respond similar to the 70/30 series front
shocks. These struts are superior to “OEM”
