Default cheapest way to add hp? i have exhaust...fuel injectors? CAI? MAI?

Hello! I have a 2003 V6 Mustang with the "Pony Package." The Pony Package comes with different rims, leather steering wheel, Mach MP3 stereo, a GT type hood and white fading ponies running along the side of the bottom of the car on both sides.. but anyways, I have a few questions about adding fairly cheap HP. First off, I bought the car used from some old people and I think they put in an aftermarket Cold Air Intake system, which I do not know what brand it is and neither does AutoZone...but my intake looks very similar to this one in these pictures...http://www.mustangforums.com/m_757359/tm.htm Last summer I got dual exhaust (Flowmaster American Thunder). Before I added those on a lot of people said that that is usually the best and first thing most people do to add HP. I was asking a friend the other day what would be a cheap, but effective way of adding a descent amount of horse power to my little but awesome V6 He said either some fuel injectors or a K&N Cold air intake or possibly Mass air intake. I know for sure that my intake right now is not stock because i have the stock one sitting in a bag in the garage. Basicly what I need to know is, what is the cheapest most effective way to add some Horsepower? also I really want to lower my car with either Eibach Proline or Sportline springs, but I'm afraid my exhaust will scrape to much since I don't have a rear GT bumper with the dual exhaust cut-outs... SORRY IF THIS IS TOO LONG, I GET LONG WINDED SOMETIMES

Thanks in advance!

Sorry to say but there is no exactly cheap way to gain horses. You pay for what you get. Not real sure what intake you have right now but i would deff. try and find out, K & N and MAC make good CAI's, if you go with a CAI and decide to get MAC, autobadges.com is the place to get it. I would also go with "true duals", UDP, and 4.10's and t-loc. Exhaust really ranges in price, not real sure on price of U/D pullies but check out autobadges.com and gears wont cost you to much to get but they will cost you a pretty penny to get them installed. Unless you know what your doing and want to install it yourself, but if you dont i highly recommend getting a professional to do it.

I know there is no "Cheap" way to adding hp, but what I meant by that was I don't have the money to go get a supercharger or turbo charger... And I have true dual exhaust also.

not realy sure on the gears, U/D pullies will give you about 8, and youll notice the diffrence right away! Wait till yellowpony or mustangman get on and theyll be able to tell you more about gears, there the big gear gurus. But thats the basic mods for you right there.

Traction locks...you don't gain any HP, rather, it makes both wheels spin instead of just the right side under heavy acceleration. What hp/tq you do have it puts to the pavement. With UDP it will free up about 7-8 HP at the engine. Gears, similar to t-locs. Doesn't add anything but makes more efficient use of what you have. The gears are good for a couple tenths of a second faster acceleration in the 1/4 mile. The t-locs will help you launch better.

The sixers factory tune is so ****ty i think a lot of people on here will agree when i say deff get a tuner, i heared SCT makes good tuners (thats what im investing in next).

yeah bro, there is no cheap hp, if there was i'd be in heaven and everyone would have fast cars, but first of all go with an air intake and air filter and an exhaust, but its up to you how CHEAP you wanna go, cuz the prices range, for quality and hp.

look through here
http://autobadges.com/performance/

do you already have a CAI? if so a brand name CAI wont give you any more power, i would reccomend underdrive pullies though

also if you have the money deff get either a diablo or SCT tuner and some 4.10 gears with a t-lok, either that or a shot of nitrous buy you should atleast get the t-lok so you dont have 1 wheel burnouts

I got my pullies for 75 shipped and is a quick install. It isnt a BIG increase in HP, but I think sometimes you can feel it. Maybe its just the placebo....if you do get the UDP, make sure they are steel becuase the aluminum ones dont giv as much HP for some reason...

I think it is supposed to increase ur mpg by 1mpg or something too
