You are really going get alot of opinions so I will give you mine.
1. I went with K&N FIPK first, engine sounded better, not any HP gains noticeable. 2. I then added Flowmaster Mufflers on stock H pipes. Seemed a bit snappier but subtle, sound is awesome (I like the sound of the "drone" at 55-60. 3. I microtuned the chip with a Superchip microtuner. Seemed like everything clicked and I felt alot of seat of the pants power. 4. C&L Polished 75mm Throttle body and Plenum. more power felt 5. 3.73 Steeda gears, retuned chip. It's not the fastest car but it moves now!
So what did I get? Who knows, I could add up the numbers and say that with what all the places I bought the parts from what they advertise, I am at around 300hp. But I doubt it.
I don't race at the track and I do it for my enjoyment. I get stares and wavs and "thumbs up" from those I race. I am WELL pleased! I spent maybe a $1000 on everything and some interior stuff included. The real enjoment is working on the car. The bashed knuckles and the cussin and the fun of it.
Everything I have done I shouldn't have problems when it comes to bringing the car in for warranty work and I have definetly more power. Hope this helps!

was wondering if the 01 bullit intake would be a good upgrade for my 02 GT i heard it was but just what kind of benifets do i recieve?? any help would be nice thnx everyone
The bullit intake is not a significant upgrade to a naturally apsirated 4.6. However, if you are going with a blower, turbo or nitrous, the bullit intake is a good upgrade and the 4.6 will respond well to it. Another new intake has been released for the 4.6 other than the bullit ( I don't know the name of the company) but the intake is called the 'P-51' and adds about 25-30 horses to a mildly modified 4.6. Look around in either Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords or 5.0 Mustang and super fords magazines for info.

DUDE, HAHA no way you have 300HP with with Flowmasters with the stock h-pipe, ported intake and plenum and a tuned chip. HAHAHAHAHA you are smoking CRACK. It would take FULL 4.6 bolt-ons aside from SC or nitrous to even get near 300hp.

Yep Dan, ummmm put down your pipe and reread that post please . What I was reffering to is what these companies say that you will have, compoared to what you really have. 12hp here, 20hp there, it adds up unbelieveably. You can never go with adding up the mods. Dynoing is the only way to truly see.
Besides, my XM Radio gave me an extra 45rwhp and thats my story and I am siticking to it!
