Default fastest stock time???

what was/is the fastest you have ever had your 5.0 run stock..... im talking stock, no mods. include year and model....

when i had my old 88 gt hatch 5sp, only mod was 3 chamber flowmasters, still with stock h pipe i wnet 14.7 best run... going to offroad h, removing airbox silencer, and pullies with drag radiels i pulled a best of 13.9 oh and advanced timing of course.

when I first got my 93 gt I took it to the track and ran a best 15.01 ( no pwer shifting, really bad tires, 2.73 gears and completely bone stock) on my second visit I had lower and upper control arms,spec clutch stage 1, 3.73's, and new tires I ran 14.09 . maybe when I get my exhaust done I hope to get 13.9's

Exactly. Because everybody knows the old 87 / 88 Notchbacks were the quickest fox body's, but a crappy driver can easily screw that up.

a really good driver can be almost as fast in a gt as a good driver in a notch.

Well put a really good driver in that notch too and he'll tool him every time. Besides, all GT's are the slowest of the Mustang's in that era. By a lot, might I add.
