First one is my stock muffler. Second clip is with the Flowmaster 40 true duals.

My evolution goes like this:

2005 V6 Mustang with single stock muffler

2005 V6 Mustang with NO muffler :)

2005 V6 Mustang with single GT-take off muffler

2005 V6 Mustang with dual GT-take off mufflers and Magnalflow X-pipe

I almost forgot about this sticky....but I figure I'd add my .02 to it....

The following clips are with the MAC stainless steel axle back exhaust.

Wow the flowmaster vs borlas was a great video!

Borlas defintly sound better. Anyone know what was done to teh car with the borlas?

wow man i def prefer the flows
so your kicked from my thread!
just kidding man everyone has their personal pref on what they like to hear
thats why i made this thread
just call it a dictionary of sound clips

also its really hard to tell how the sound will change for a v6
you should really check out rygens flows set up before you make
and decisions
but if you do get dual borlas(ps there not cheep) pleeeeeeeease posta nice little clip

Wow! That is one BAD 'stang. And one excellent waste of rubber!

Here's my latest exhaust video. I've got an h-pipe with two Vortex mufflers. It's mellowed out a little bit in the month or so I've had it, but I love the low rumble and she really kicks when I get on the gas!

Would it be possibly for PWizard or another mod to maybe get the couple GT exhaust clips in here removed so they don't confuse people looking for prospective exhaust? Might be a little misleading.

A cutout is a little 'y' that gets put into your piping (typically right after the headers, but I think the guys that have done it to their sixxes did it right before the muffler) that bypasses your standard exhaust. Basically, it just opens it wide up.

I am going nuts here guys. I keep listening to the sound clips and it is hard. I was set on a single GT take off but what about the Borla? That thing sounds good too. AARGH....My friend said to get MAC. Another said Borla is the way to go and then another said the Gt take-off sounded the best. This is friggin hard.

aight now were still out a few i think

1) a good clip of a borla or ford racing single/ duals
2) mrt duals h pipe or x
3) bassani possibly i know there expensive but they might be good
4) good mac clip single or dual
5) flowmaster american thunders with jba h pipe duals ( i will try to supply this one shortly)
