Are there any Ford dealers that will take an X Plan for a Mach 1? Most claim a limited run doesn't qualify but Ford does.

Most claim a limited run doesn't qualify but Ford does. lloydchristmas 03-12-2003, 07:50 PM Last I heard the Mach 1's were already sold out. noslow50 03-13-2003, 01:26 AM noooo ... just down the street from the dealer i'm at(ain't tellin) the ford dealer has like a couple in stock.. not sold out.. atl east not yet..lol lloydchristmas 03-13-2003, 05:51 PM Really????? I got to get me one of those noslow50 03-14-2003, 08:33 PM i have wanted one the day i saw concept photos of it... BEAUTIFULL... Chaucer 04-18-2003, 03:39 PM I just bought one of the 2003 mach 1's and i'm loving it. I talked with my buddy who owns a Ford dealership about the X Plan (I did not buy from him because he couldnt get the color that I wanted). He said that he doubt the dealership that I bought from would have sold me the car under the XPlan. Also the financial gains would have been minimal. Most dealerships are only selling the car at MSRP, so approximately $29430. The A Plan for a Mach1 is about $26000 and some change, lets say $26500. The XPlan calculation is A-Plan + 4% + $150. So that ends up being $27680. Not a whole lot of savings. lloydchristmas 04-18-2003, 09:39 PM I saw one at a dealer by me and he was asking 5000 over sticker. Chaucer 04-19-2003, 08:52 AM if they are asking anything over sticker... look elsewhere because they are stupid. This is a total buyers market right now. Make sure you shop around even if you have to look in another city. I drove 140 miles to buy mine. MustangGTRocks 06-08-2003, 07:07 PM Yeah, look around... masterA.J. 06-14-2003, 02:14 AM I have worked at many, many dealerships its just metal and a $ sign to us.
