Skylines come with 400hp from the factory if I'm not mistaken.

Actually the RB26DETT comes with 276 hp out of it's 2.6L straight 6. That motor is good for 1000 hp, just like the Supra motor.

You can get the Skyline over here, but you have to buy the GTR (55k US) then call MOTOREX to import it (10-20k US) and then spend the money to make it DOT and Emissions Legal.

They're running from a roll, can't you hear the SS suddenly get on it?

I read in a magazine about three months ago, that the Skyline is coming to America in...2007? and that it's coming with 400hp.

Exactly, which is why I like skylines and supras (besides the fact they look good). But yeah with those cars you upgrade the turbo and add a few things and you have major horsepower.

RB36DETT and the 2JZ-GTE- My favorite japanese motors.

Don't believe everything you hear. Why you may ask?

In Japan, the new Skyline is what we call the 350Z. The 350Z has made a name for itself over here, and I doubt that Nissan will have two of it's supercars aiming for the same market.

The Fairlady Z is the 300Zx, not the 350Z. Same nameplate, different motors, cars, concepts.

JDM Skyline=USDM 350Z Thats what I meant.

The skyline is the same platform as the G35. Don't ask me why the G35 doesn't haul ass like the skyline does.

Because Infiniti is Nissans Luxury division, all the added weight slows the G35 compared to the 350Z...but not by much.

Thanks captain. I have an Infiniti, I know how it works. The G35 isn't 400 horse, and they don't have the AWD system in them. They just recently released a version with an electronic 4WD system that's based on the QX4 system. Pretty cool how it works, but it's no Skyline.

The G35 has less HP than the 350Z...

There's a speed shop here in the Springs that has two Skylines, one a 833whp TT (right hand drive to)...on the 27th they were down at Pueblo making a couple runs..ran a 11.7 at 5800ft elevation..so at sea level like 10.6ish..and he didn't give it it's all either. If he would of ran any faster, they would of booted him off the track for only having a bolt in cage...that car is just SICK...
