I'm a noob here, but have had Mustangs on and off for almost 30 years, starting with a '68 fastback that I wish I still had! I've had a pile of Fox-bodies, and a handful of verts.
But today, I'm sitting in my office when the phone rings....the salesman where I ordered my car from was calling to tell me my car was in - after only a 5 week wait!! I was expecting it the beginning of May, but WHOOHOO!!
Nothin' fancy: Vista Blue GT convertible, charcoal cloth w/ int. upgrade, black dash panels, Shaker 500, auto trans.
I have a few mods in mind, but most are pretty subtle, because I think Ford FINALLY got it right. It's a gorgeous shape as is, so I doubt I'll make any dramatic changes.
I got a 2-3 day wait to pick it up, and it's killing me!! HERE COMES THE SUN!!
BTW - My username is Hamerhead, not because I can't spell hammer, but because Hamer (hay-mer) builds the best damn guitars in the USA!

Got my 06 GT three weeks ago and it has been at the dealership waiting for the Roush s/c and wheels to arrive (for 10 days). They just came in yesterday. If you intend to modify, Roush has a warranty.
