Yes... it works the same on the GT's... actually, it is the same computer modual and software that controls the throttle on both cars.

Unfortunately - - it does NOT last... Just so you know. I have to redo/reset mine (a GT) every couple of months.

That's right, I redo mine every couple of fill-ups. Probably overkill, but it's easy to remember.

I heard if on a full moon you take your car to an open field and stand on the hood then turn around three times and throw a bag of sea salt over your shoulder that eliminates throtle lag.

Harry_F, whoever told you that is just a plain faced liar! Everybody knows that:

A) it an oak grove, not an open field
B) you use kosher salt, NOT sea salt

Just a word of warning, if you use sea salt, your Mustang will turn into a Taurus

WTF !!! This is unbelievable. I almost feel like the forum has gotten together just to pull a fast one on me. How the **#(@)_! can this work? Even if Ford had this in to do testing, why wouldn't this code have been yanked!!! OMG... I can't wait to try this.

Just tried it, didn't notice a difference. Then again, I'm tuned.

Are you running a high octane tune? I guess you saw a nice difference in low end torque?

The highest available in my area is 91 octane. I was on 87 for the longest time, but I decided to treat myself tonight and went back to 91. Definitely a nice boost in torque... incredibly easy to spin the wheels, I have to watch myself sometimes.

Ok...Im sceptical but exited. This sounds like when people install an air intake and say thay feel worlds of difference, but its actuallly all in their head. Im not saying its not impossible, as my friends lighting has a similar override that allows for a digital speedo and other things, but this just seems to good to be true lol. Anyway, ill try it later on for kicks.

Shave...But do all the lights actually go out? My engine light & Battery light stayed light...are does supposed to?

I heard that if you turn the key to ON and wait til all the normal lights in the dash go out, then slowly press the gas pedal until it is floored and release. Turn key off, wait about 6 seconds and then start your car. Gets rid of most if not all of the throttle lag. Give it a try.
