Found this site through random searching while shopping for upgrades for the '06 GT I bought on 14 Feb. This is the second Mustang I've owned, the first being my mom's '72 Grande (sold). Bought the GT over the phone the day after I drove by it on the dealer's lot, didn't even drive it. My mom's first Mustang (and car) was a '68 in Lime Gold Metallic. I swore if that color ever came back I would get one. So I did. Not the exact color, but close enough. We are scheduled for our first modification - Flowmaster axle-back - tomorrow morning. Am looking at a C&L intake system with the Diablo Predator tuner - any comments?
Actually, I'm female, but that's OK. My kid has an '01 Cobra that's being rebuilt after he fried the motor with a really bad turbo install. Also have a whole yard full of Ford trucks, plus a Lincoln LS. I haven't been around performance cars for over 20 years and find it really ironic that while you used to need a tool box full of SnapOn to customize a car, now you need a game controller. Guess that tells my age.
