Default Holy ****!

ok so i was out driving around town for about an hour and didnt get a race. so on my way home i was coming up to an s-curve and i decided to floor it. i got through the right turn and my tranny shifted into 4th gear, still floored (so that means i was going somewhere above 90 mph). i noticed a car about to make a left from a side street onto the road i was on. they were stopped there and i could clearly see them so i figured they could see me and wait for me to pass right? wrong. just as i started the left s-turn they turned onto the road. this is an suv by the way, so they were blocking the entire road when i got there. i stayed calm as it was happening and i gently sharpened my turn to get off of the left side of the road and miss the suv. so now im going like 90 mph sliding on the dirt next to the road. i maintained control of the slide and got it back on the road. boy did that scare the **** outta me! thankfully i'm alright, my car is fine, and whoever was in the suv didnt get hurt. i totally understand that this was my fault. i consider it a lesson learned.

has anybody else had an experience like this?

racin a FAST srt4 in beverly hills on the windy part of sunset blvd a lil after rodeo dr, top of 2nd just started smokin em and made me start to whip the back out to the left. i corrected just a wee bit too much and fishtailed about a foot back to the right. i gained control back, but was half a car length into the oncoming lane at that time, and luckily there were no cars coming the other way.

I was going a little fast around curve tonight out in the sticks while I was enjoying an empty curvy road by taking the corners track style. Anyways I'm going a bout 45 around this sharp turn when the back end just swung out. I got a good "drift", in a sense. The ass end was out quite a ways, but I just let off the gas a little and waited for the road to straighten out. Was fun, but I am never driving like that on the same day as a rainstorm. Cause a huge had passed through about six hours earlier, so I guess thats why I just lost traction. I'm sure the open diff helped throw the back end out too.[8D]

I don't have any personal experience with anything like that, thank God. My best friend, however, is serving a 4 year prison sentence because a drunk woman pulled out in front of him in his 02 GT (and he was going nowhere close to those speeds). Keep that kinda driving for the track.
