Default spark plug gap

i have a 2000 saleen non sc and recently bought new plugs. The plugs i took out were gapped at 60 so i bought bosch platinum plugs at 60 also. My question is with the new saleen series 4 supercharger installed will this gap need to be different?

i am not an expert but i have always been told not to use plat plugs in a boosted motor but i would look in to it it is either a well established rumor or fact
