hey, my buddy just bought a 350Z track model for about 35k, I've got a 03 GT 5 speed. I know I'm probably gonna get the standard "if you put that money into a stang it'll smoke it" but stock vs stock who do you guys think would win. We're both experienced drivers, I've read on a few websites that the 00 GT will run 14.00 in the 1/4 and the 03 Z will do it in 14.01. And one more thing I was looking up some dyno's on the Z and they all showed that Nissan rated the Z 15 hp high at the flywheel.

you should be able to win that match up. the 350z track really doesn't offer any performance enhancemances for speed. you get brembro brakes and rays allum wheels. hp is still a little light though. the car will outhandle a stock gt

They just had the GT, 350z, and an rx8 in a recent mag last month(cant remember which one beause I read so many of em). The GT was quoted to have the quickest quarter mile, 0-60, 0-100 and times around a track.

My friend has an 03 350Z base model. Ran 14.0 bone stock, but he is incredible with a 5 speed. I have an 02 GT with Exhaust & Headers (unsure of which kind yet, gimmie time) and I pulled 2 car lengths from a 40 mph roll.

Unsure of the brand of headers. I've owned the car for alittle over 4 weeks and been so busy working & crap I haven't gotten it up on a lift to take a good look. All I see is that they are coated & I can't imagine it came from the factory like that.
