Alright, since no one is posting pics of their aftermarket spoilers post-installation, I'm gonna start putting up some.
Be forewarned: I have tons of pics saved that I have gotten from manufacturers' sites, other mustang forums, and this forum. So there are going to be pics of some members' rides that I will be using. I don't have any of these saved pics labeled, so I have no way of listing what cars belong to which member. If you are visiting this thread and see a pic of your car that you do not wish to be posted here....PM me and I'll remove it. I'm totally flexible here, ppl. I am doing it this way simply because I had hoped members with aftermarket spoilers would come in here and put up pics of their own tail-end setups......but no one is taking the bait. So here we go:
Here's some pics of the Street Scene ducktail spoiler on a black car:
I think your picture of the Xenon spoiler is accurate or at leaast very close. they oly sell through distributors though and I spoke to them direct and it does cover the whole left by the original. for the record i like the street scene ducktail bet, just wont cover my wholes. The cervinis looks cool too just a little too aggresive with a higher lip and again does not cover the wholes. good Luck!

Actually BlueC500 told me that the Cervini spoiler does cover the stock spoiler holes....no prob. But it is an aggressive spoiler unit........so it may look a little overpowering on a stock bodies mustang.
Okay, let's post up some pics of the GEFRacing "Legend rear wing" spoiler. Alot of buzz about this one in the last few months. Here are some pics posted by some fellow members:
Here's what I believe is the Xenon spoiler. I know there are a few knock-offs of the Xenon's that are offered by various smaller companies...........but they all pretty much look alike, and are made alike. I'm not sure, maybe Xenon sells their kit thru other companies and doesn't have named credit of it. The third one is the Ronaele spoiler.......almost identical. The bottom one is definitely the Xenon spoiler.
Ok, I have what I believe is the VERY BEST LOOKIGN DUCKTAIL STYLE SPOILER AVAILABLE FOR TH '05+ MUSTANG. It not available yet, but will be any day now. It looks factory! I used the think the CDC duck tail was the best looking, but after looking at this piece, the rest look like cheap stick on plastic. It raplaces the entire rear deack lid. It's made by fang. They have a lot of sweet ass stuff that is about to come out. Check them out : www.fangperformance.com Their "mystery 7" and "mystery 8" hoods and noses look just bad ass too. Here is the spoiler:

Yea, I posted the link to Fang Performance a little ways back. I've spoken to one of their reps a couple of times and I'm waiting to see their final unveiling of this product before I post it up with the other selections. Seems very promising and should be a first. It is also something I would be very interested in if it is a quality piece kit. I'll stay on top of it for you guys.
I was wondering if the 3m tape provided with some of these kits will hold ?It just doesn't sound very trustworthy at high speeds. Are these type of spoilers functional ,by adding any down force at speed. I want one because they do look rad ,but certainly would like some function as well as form and reliability.
ThisBlood147: Just a quick update...auto body shop said they would do the work, so I will be ordering the Roush spoiler for my black mustang (I think I am going to order the street scene rear lip too). Once the parts come in, the body shop said we can schedule a time to bring it in. I'll keep you updated

I too am apprehensive about the whole 3M tape issue. But, do realize that most of the emblems on your car are held on using this stuff. It shouldn't simply fly off without a significant amount of pressure being applied.......at least more than the wind under normal driving conditions could apply. Anyone who has removed 3M stuck-on emblems will tell you that the stuff doesn't let go very easy.....ask fairlane292. Of course, if you plan on this spoiler being a permenant edition to your exterior (ie: you LOVE the spoiler) then bolting it on is probably your best bet. I don't much fancy putting extra holes in my baby....but if I was absolutely sure about my decision then that's the way I would go. Of course, I'm indecisive as hell on my exterior right now........so I don't see myself committing to extra bolt holes just yet As far as the spoilers being functional....well, let's not kid ourselves. Most functional spoiler designs require a fair amount of wind speed to provide any significant downforce. Almost none of the aftermarket spoilers available to the new mustangs are gonna actually help glue you to the road any better.......in fact, I'm relatively certain that they won't do much for you other than looks. "Supposedly", some of the spoilers like the Steeda spoilers and the GEFRacing spoiler will provide a small amount of downforce if installed........but you're only gonna see that at really high speeds (120+mph). And at those speeds, it's not like you're going to be doing anything with your car handling-wise that will require that extra downforce to the rear of the car. So, in short: don't shop for a spoiler based on what it might do for you performance-wise. In fact, if you really want performance increase via a spoiler decision........just remove the thing. Because for the most part, spoilers do only two things for our cars: make it look better and add weight.

Cool man. Make sure to post up some pics when it's all done. If you can, try and get some pics of it installed before the street scene lip goes on (don't know if that will be possible). Keep me posted...
