ok now i own a 2000 saleen s-281 non s/c with the 3.55 rear-end gears. about 3 weeks ago i bought the brand new series 4 supercharger. Now i always read saleen owners cryin about there hp #s and i never understood why. my car rated a 285 hp is that at the wheels? i talked to tom at saleen about the supercharger and he said this would put me a 390hp. now i am expecting this to be to the wheels and if not i atleast want this at the crank. So i guess basically what im askin is how much hp should i expect and how is my motor gonna handle 10psi am i gonna have to do ne mods to the bottom end or ne thing. your info would really help me out! thanx

...your 285 hp rating is not hp rated to the wheels. Your motor will hadle 10 psi, but you will need to re-chip it, or I recommend a MAF tuner. New injectors, too. -And fuel pump or a boost a pump kit. If your tune is good, it will make around 400 hp to the wheels @ 10 psi.

well i send the saleen proceesor into saleen where they re process it to run with the charger is that considered a re-chip, plus the kit comes with new injectors, but not sure about the fuel pump. 400 rear wheel hp is outstanding for me specially with those 3.55's.
