Yesterday, our local Mustang club rented the new local dyno shop for the day. The dyno is a Mustang brand dyno. With my C&L and 92 octane performance tune the results were:
Maxium power: 142.4 @ 4775 rpm / 105 miles per hour with WCF adjustment 201.0 horsepower
Maxium torque: 162.0 @ 4245 rpm / 4245 rpm / 93.1 miles per hour with WCF adjustment 228.8 foot lbs.
My question is what is the WCF adjustment ? The guy told me I was putting out 201 hwp. Does this compare with others? I know the Mustang dynos are supposed to put out more correct numbers. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know much about mustang dyno's other than they read lower than dynojets... LOL! Not sure what the WCF is... but if your car is a manual then the 210/228 numbers are about right for dynojet numbers... and actually they are darn good numbers!
Actually it's an auto. The dyno operator said the WCF was something about a weather conditions adjustment factor, but I didn't quite understand it, so I thought I'd ask you folks. He seemed impressed with my cars performance though. The numbers beat quite a few older stangs with V8s. Awesome numbers with your new jets Scrming!

wow... great numbers for an auto!!! Now to get some timeslips! LOL!
and thanks... can't wait to try the new jets out at the track!!!
WCF is correction factor which takes into consideration Barometric pressure, ambiant temp and humidity. Those numbers are right on. Mustang Dyno are comarable to Dyno Dynamics numbers and those numbers sound just about right. We have tested V6 and V8 stangs and the numbers you got are very close to cars we have tested in our facility. Good job!
Thanks for the feedback guys! It's geat to be able to jump on the forum with questions and have folks take the time to share their knowledge. It's why we keep coming back. I'd post the dyno graphs, but the shop printer pen was running low on ink so it's too light to scan. I'll go by the shop next week and have them print me out a darker copy. It was rewarding to be able to see in real numbers that the investment of a good CAI and tuner pay off. Everyone who hasn't done this should start saving their pennies for it.
