no engine pictures I'm afraid. if you've seen a stock motor without the AC, air pump, and power steering pump, and an electric fan and aluminum radiator, then you've seen my engine compartment.! I do have the fancy Ford blue silicon radiator hoses though! maybe after I actually get into the motor and do something with it, I may get some pics!
Thanks for the compliments! The body has over 108,000 miles on it and it shows!
I never was all that big on washing and waxing! I do try to keep it somewhat cleaner now that it's on the track full time, no more sitting out in the weather, it stays in the trailer where it is nice and dry!

yeah buddy, 1.78 60 foot times now that I got the 90/10 struts out front with the racing AOD and the 2,500 stall converter with the 4.57 gears on a spool out back! I think that's damn impressive on a basically stock motor! wait til I go into the motor then stand back, i intend to get the fronts up in the air!!!

it's from Art Carr Performance transmissions. I have one of their extreme AOD trannies with a full manual valve body and they sized the converter for basically the stock 225 HP, 300 ft lbs of torque! plus I can trade it in for a new one within 1 year of purchase and I have until June to decide on that!

I'm running a 4.57 gear in a 9" Strange rear with a spool and Megabite Jr. lower control arms, ajustable uppers, aluminum upper arm bushings with spherical bearings and stock shocks, and sub frame connectors. what gear you pulling? that's an impressive time slip but it looks like you took a little nap on the tree that forced you to break out big time! lol don't you hate it when you do that!! I think I could use some new rear shocks, what would you recommend?

I've got the Eibach drag springs both front and rear too. have you got the full roll cage required to run 9.99? they will probably check you out if you do get there with the 250 shot and maybe give you a hard time about it. depends on the track tech guys. good luck anyway and I hope you make it there next time out!

roundman, where you hail from? I haven't been down to Dinwiddie to do anything but visit folks yet, but keep meaning to head down there. I'm in Chester. What's it cost to run down there? I'm running stock, so I won't come close to you, but I'm curious what she'll run.

just north of you in Chesterfield county. on street nights on Fridays, I think the entry fee for car and driver is still $15. if you go on Saturday for test and tune, that cost $26 but all the racers are there normally and you won't get as many runs in. hot ticket is the Thursday nite test and tunes for $26-they have several scheduled, usually about 1 a month. mid week like that there won't be that many cars either. check out their website: www.virginiamotorsportspk.com for more details and the exact schedule. come on down! establish a stock baseline and then start throwing some parts at it and take it to the track after each new mod to see how much it picks up! I started like this 10 years ago when the track first opened and now I race in Modified for points/cash on Saturdays. my Stang is MOD 380, if you see it there, stop by and say hello!

I used to run my buddies '69 Camaro down in "Lousy"ianna. Cost was $10/car. We used to have a ball. Love to get back into the game. I'll try and look you up down there sometime. You normally down there on Fridays?
