I have just bought this Stage 3 Spec Roush - let me know what you think! - put it in this Forum as the Stage 3 has not been officially released yet - this car was built by Roush for NBC as a promo car - not sure what they used it for, maybe a film? maybe a TV show? if anybody finds out I would love to know!
It has all the options - Roushcharger, 14" brakes, short throw shifter, roush toolbox in boot, etc
AWESOME! Nice car man...how much does it put down?

Seen the car inperson it was in Brando Fl nice ride sticker was 53k and has 415hp
The car is now in England with the guy that posted the foto. Funny how they got the
car as the dealership tried to get a long time client to enter a bidding contest over the
ride. But that is another story.

I drove this car on the Thursday before he bought it. I was taking the weekend to consider it, and on Sunday it was gone. The car is being imported to the UK, so the story goes. I heard the same story about it being a special built car, but a few things should be noted about the car. The Roush purists who look this car over closely will think something is up, as the car has no Roush dash plaque showing it as a Stage 3. The dealership had to represent it as a Stage 2 with dealer added s/c since the Roush window sticker showed the car as a Stage 2, even though its badged as a 3. The cars build date precedes the Federal certification date of the Stage 3's, which hasn't even actually happened yet.
Here is a link to a short review I wrote up after the test drive; http://www.fnsweet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26396
Either way, it is a bada$$ car...[>:]
BTW, I went ahead and reserved one of the Stage 3's that Brandon Ford has coming in 6-8 weeks. White with Blue stripes like the one in this thread.[8D]

Would you like to know how much they asked for on the Stage 3? or did they give u a # to work with yet. I can tell you how low I got.
I was one that was going to buy the car before the bidding form the English boys started. And you are right about the sticker on the window
plus the other items u pointed out. By the way forget the sticker and a word to the wise be carefull with Brandon Ford, If they can get someone
to bid on your car you will lose it to that person. Many in the club are not happy with the dealership and the stunts that they pull. I have bought a
few Saleens from them and truley understand why they lost the contract to sell them.

It sure is a beauty. I am thinking of trading in my '05 when they are available at my local roush dealer. That or the GT-500.

Most likely they won't be available in the normal sense. The latest word is that only 200 are being built. My dealership is the second highest volume Roush dealer, and fifth highest volume Ford dealer in the country and they are getting something like 7 total, five coupes and two verts. When I put down a deposit on 03/24, mine made 4th out of the 7 presold.
Better hurry if you want one.....;)

Roush arrived in the UK this weekend and look unbelievable on UK roads - gets more attention than any car I have ever seen and has only been driven on a trailer!
AWESOME pics! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

My mother and step-father just bought a stage 3 from brandon ford the stage 3's don't have a dash plaque on them. The stage 2's have a other differences than just the super charger. There's a big difference in power between a stage 2 with the supercharger added by the dealership and a pure stage 3 with the supercharger added by roush . The engines are tuned for the charger by roush for the charger where the stage 2 is pretty much nothing but a stock gt motor. We were able to see a big difference bwteen a stage 2 with a charger and the pure stage 3 they bought on test drives. My step father ended up paying 53,000 for his stage 3 since he wouldn't wait for the shelby to come out. Roush's website doens't even have a dash plaque avalible for stage 3's only stage 1 and 2's. Here's a few pics of his stage 3 before he had roush stripes add to the lower door panels on the side and stge 3 decals added under the roush side emblems on the side.
Oh man, that is a sweet car. I totally want a Roush someday, I've always loved them much more than the Saleen. I hear they have better customer service too, and Saleens are built like crap (well not compared to most cars, but compared to the Roush at least) and that Saleens have lots of problems. Anyways, I love the look of Roush cars better. I think it would be funny to drive around and have someone ignorant ask "is that a saleen" and then you get to be like HECK NO, here's why...But sweet car, wanna give it away to drooling boy;)
