Im going to the track on April 15th and i cant wait!, Last time i went i was on totally bald tires and a very dirty air filter and it was my first time at the track. I ran a best of 15.3 at 89mph. I was wondering how much better ill be with my new mods, the CAI, O/R H, and UDPs, and much better tires. Think any chance ill hit a 14.8?

hmm...if i could run between 9.0-9.5, id be damned happy with my car, considering its pretty much stock. plus, i can drive it better now, so, it might be even more car lengths that 3-4 now.....heheh.....

Well, is that for a 1/4 mile or the 1/8 mile.
Well lets say that most cars go 100mph in the 1/4. 100miles per hour is 146.7ft/sec. So in .1 sec, the distance is 14.67 ft. Thats about a car or so. so .1 sec/car is pretty good comparision.

5,280 feet (1 mile) x 100 miles in an hour = 528,000 feet in an hour. Divide that by 3,600 (seconds in an hour) and you get 146.6666...
At my best trap speed (106.71) my car is travelling 156.508 feet per second.
