Unless his dealership installed some sort of aftermarket fog light delete kit............then yea, he has a V6. ALL GT's come with foglights from the factory.

You never know... So many aftermarket grills eliminate the stock big fog lights. Only one way to tell= pop the freakin' hood!

Oh I don't know...you could also look in the back, if he's got one tail pipe, it's definitely a six. Also, the sixes have different lower valances (front and rear). And then there's the badging, fenders and rear. But as Orion says, the ultimate test is to simply say "wow, pop the hood duuuude, let's check it out!" Best, -j Hmmm, one more thing--it seems that every six I've seen has matte black rocker panels...not sure if that will hold of every six from the factory, but it's one more thing to keep an eye on.

Simpler still, tell him to start it up. Trust me, there's no mistaking the rumble of the V8 for a V6.

I've seen lots of v-6's with the twin exhausts. Remember, it's a 4.0 six so it might sound like a 4.6! And badging? Don't talk to me about badging! We don't need no stinking badging!
