how would you compare Mach 460 sound system to other leading brands of speakers? i don't feel I'm getting max power out of mine. Also, anyone reading this, have a rear driver side speaker? If so, cheap? Lemme know. Also posted in wanted ads.

I think the Mach 460 is a great stereo for stock...it works for me!

Def, I've got boston acoustic speakers all around in mine, they're great. I havn't even gotten close to needing anything more even with the top down. The 460 is a nice system but there's always gonna be nicer aftermarket stuff out there. I don't think I've ever gotten the volume up more then half way and that's plenty loud with no distortion.

thanks thats all i needed, but hey, do u have a boston head unit? or just boston speakers? i wanted to go with an alpine deck, but i would have had to re-wire all of my speakers due to the mach 460 sound system. Did you have your speakers wired professionally? And one more question, how do you get access to your rear speakers?

you cant use aftermarket speakers with the 460 head unit...mach 460 runs off different ohms than standard 4 ohms that all car stereos do
