Hi!

I am new here, but have a question.

I have bought a 94 mustang 5,0 gt coupe.

Right now I am going to buy new wheels for my ride.

The question is:

Can any body tell me if its possible with 22 inch wheels on a 94 gt stang?

Seriously, I'm not trying to be mean but I sure hope your joking. Please don't do that. I don't understand how people put wheels on their cars that they actually have to RAISE the car to get them on and actually make the car have more wheel gap. Just doesn't make sense if your putting bigger wheels put just big enough to fill wheel gap.

And for your questions yes it can be done. But you'll have to go to a shop and do a body lift. Then you'll have to roll the fenders quite a bit and have wheels custom made. For backspacing and lug pattern issues.

well it's an SN95 so 18s looks best on those IMO. i've seen some with 19s that pulled it off pretty good, but i really wouldn't recommend anything bigger than that.

I've seen some SN-95's w/ 18's that looked pretty good; 19's on a stang is too much; 20's on a stang is just retarted; and 22's on a stang =

If you want to have 22's on something buy a SUV. Like FoxRod said, if you really want to do it you will need some serious fab work done to the body to fit 22's w/ tires. Do yourself a favor and photoshop 22's on your car.

no way you'll fit 22s on your stang without a lift kit and it's going to look like complete sh!t. dont go larger than 18s, that's rediculous.

I had 20s on my 99 for a little while and they barely fit. They rubbed a little when i would turn. I agree, it just doesnt look right. I ended up taking mine off and selling them. Jmo

yep, go with 18's, they fill the wheel well nicely and everyone that
has posted pics with them look nice.

No way 22's will fit

dont be mis-lead by the new 05's having 20's and such.
That is a bigger car and will take a bigger wheel.

again, i think you'll be pleased with 18's and say 35 series sidewall on the tires ( 245 / 35 R 18 )

do any of you think that 18's would look ok on a Fox body!? b/c i was considering 18's for my '92 ...

btw: my receptionist at my office has a black '99 V6 with 20's on it and i think it looks ok .... there's still a lot of fender gap on it and she has no issues with it rubbin'. i told her she needs to put about a 1.5" drop on it to make it look a little better.

My buddy has a 98 cobra with custome rims that were meant for a viper. Theyre 18's in the front and 19's in the rear, and it looks awesome. But as for 22" rims, theyll make a mustang look silly, but if thats your cup of tea then by all means go ahead and try it out.

18's look good on Fox, you just have to use a low profile tire

pretty sure those are 18's pictured on Black Snake's ride

Body lift?

I was thinking of 22" with 255/35-22 and a lowering kit that would lower the car with 1,5".

I can see that not many of you guys like ie, but has really no one seen or heard about a stang like mine with 22s?

20" is not a problem, that i know.

But I really want 22s!!

So come on any one?

I am really stuck here!
I dont want to buy 22s just to find out that they dont fit my car.

22's don't fit your car.. Plain and simple.. 22's are for Escalades, Excursions, Monte Carlo's, and Impala's... Not a Ford Mustang!

What dont you get Stang Boy? We just said you would have to get a LIFT KIT to fit the wheels in there amongst other things to make them fit. You were thinking about LOWERING IT ontop of that? Dude your wheels would rub your wells it would start a fire. NO, NO ONE here has heard or done 22's on a mustang. If you do put them on there, I will laugh at you because the car will not move.
