What the hell is wrong with you guys?? If the man wants big wheels let him have it. I had a 1995 Gt with 24's on the rear and 22's on the front. No mods at all. They rubbed, handled bad and caused bad gas mileage but I think If I would have put tires on them that would have improved...

First of all.... you need to be slapped in your face with the "I fuked up" stick... because you did. Plain and simple. Your car (if thats really yours) looks about as bad as the dog that is laying splattered on the road that I saw this morning. You may like it, but I can guarantee that 98% of the people on here do not. You are a complete disgrace to mustang owners, and drivers worldwide. Someone should have stopped you long ago, and by the pictures of "YOUR car" you are the only one driving the Homo-Mobile.

Guys - you have to realize that show cars tend to exaggerate some aspect of their appearance or content.  And they play to an audience that seems to expect the outrageous as only entry level.  Otherwise those cars would just be stockers with nice paint.  This includes the concept cars that all of the OE manufacturers trot out to the big shows too (ever notice how many of those are presented with wheels 2" or more larger than what turns up in the showroom?).  Meaning that a slightly different standard applies.

At the other extreme as far as a daily driver is concerned you'll find competition cars with barely enough "features" to be street legal at all.  Still usable as such, just like a show car could be, but definitely not a primary intention.

Try to separate what you would do yourself from what you see in somebody else's car - there may well be a different intention.

No, I'm not particularly happy with the current trend toward ever-larger wheel diameters.  But I can give a number of specific reasons, not just some zero-tech version of "I don't like them".  Topic I might start in another thread, maybe.  This one has become a bit too hostile.

Hi!

I am new here, but have a question.

I have bought a 94 mustang 5,0 gt coupe.

Right now I am going to buy new wheels for my ride.

The question is:

Can any body tell me if its possible with 22 inch wheels on a 94 gt stang?

I thought the whole point of big wheels and large-diameter tires was to REDUCE wheelwell gap . . . .

On the other hand, the battle-at-sea mural on the car in the adjacent space is kind of neat.  My camera would be pointed in that direction.
