do any of you think that 18's would look ok on a Fox body!? b/c i was considering 18's for my '92 ...
btw: my receptionist at my office has a black '99 V6 with 20's on it and i think it looks ok .... there's still a lot of fender gap on it and she has no issues with it rubbin'. i told her she needs to put about a 1.5" drop on it to make it look a little better.
I have 18's on my Car they fit perfect no rubbing and fills in the wheel well real good. Only downside is that they are heavy, expensive, and you wont be able to lower it much.

that's cool to know ... you're car does look sweet black snake ... i'd like something that i could lower about 1.5" though and not too heavy ... so maybe 17's would be better for me then!?
im having trouble picturing this in my head. i think it would be like a foot off the ground. dude there is no way that could look goos. you would be completly killing the whole idea. the idea is to have a mean looking, low to the ground, wide evil looking stance. and youll accomplish none of that with 22in wheels. i have 18's on mine and theyre killer. but i know 19's or bigger would take that away from me. im not gonna give you a hard time over it cause its yours but it wont look right even if they will fit.

OK I GET IT!
You guys dont like the idea!
Can anybody tell me where to get a good air ride system for my stang?
Good AND cheap!?!
Not only do we not like the idea and think it would look totally retarded and gangsta wanna be be, but we have told you multiple times they will not fit. I am sure with enough modifactions (lifted, rolled fenders) they could be made to fit, but that still does not make it a good idea. Do you even realize that the whole huge rim fad on cars is dying out over here, I know your not in the US and that our fads take awhile to drift across to Europe, but I think you should build a taistfull car and stick with 18's.

Good and cheap do not go tegether, esp when you are talking about somthing as important as suspension. Check out Air Ride Technologies, they have kits for nearly every car.

You guys make me laugh Anyway, if you want to try and fit 22's on your car go ahead... its not my car so do whatever you feel is best. One, it will take lots of modifications to fit them, two; it will ride like complete sh*t. 3; its just gay.
Also, if you want air ride on your car your talking big $$$. Like JD said, good and cheap dont go together. You get what you pay for.
For a full air ride suspension including compressors, etc. your looking at 3,000+
Not true.
You can **gulp** I can't believe I'm saying this. But you can put airbag suspension on your Mustang. God I feel naucious thinking about it. Airbag suspension don't cost that much. If you wanna look into those look in like LowRider Magazine if you get it over there or find their website. They have ads for it every other page.
AST1003 Front AirStrut for 79-93 Mustang and Fox chassis $995.00
SKW7012 Rear ShockWave kit for 79-04 Mustang, Fox chassis and SN95 chassis $749.00
ARC4000e 4 way RidePro compressor system with RidePro e touchpad controller, compressor, 3 gal.tank, 4 way RidePro solenoids, wiring harness, 1/4" airline and fittings. $1,099.00
Yes, there are cheaper kits out there.... but its still going to cost some $$$.
Also, I wouldnt mind having an Air Ride suspension on my Stang. You cant ask for more... great handling... great ride quality... 100% fully adjustable for street/strip etc.
I mean, I'm not too familiar w/ air ride suspensions so if you have some knowledge... PLEASE SHARE

heys man, i have seen a mustang on 22's. It look like a piece of ****. I have 20's on my mustang and i think it look good. My rims do not rub or stick out past the wheel well. I think you should go with the 20's and stand out from the crowd. I thought that what the term customizing meant to be creative in your own way. I look on here and every one has the same ole cobras, welds, bullits, or stockers. most of yall cars look like the same. I will post a pic of my car in a few days.
