Yeah most Saleens are kinda slow, handle good but slow. The S351 with a bit of sticky tires can be impressive.... I saw one put down 540 rwhp, nice...

Hmmmm how are Saleens slow.....

I raced my buddy's 996 and 1st thru 3 gear i have a car length on him, raced an M3 with the same result.
How do you justify that comment, did you drive one or even better race one yet.....?

uh yeah 13.4 is what a really heavy car that I toted my kids around in runs. That was with 2.93 gears a stock converter 3900lbs a carb and it will get out on the highway and cruise all day and all night. Best mileage I got out of it was of 20 mpg with a carb and an OD trans. So as a daily driver that hauled my kids everywhere, yeah I drive something better. Much much better. Saleens are still kinda cool tho, just most arent that fast. I would own one, but nobody has been stupid enuff to race for titles yet. lol. Really I would own one if I found one I could afford to buy with all my other projects.

If I could ever get somewhere to host them I would be more than happy to. I tried that wetodddidracing or w/e. It would upload, then it wouldn't work. They did say they were having problems with the site. Maybe if they get it fixed I can get them hosted. Or just give me your e-mail, I'll send some.

SALEENS by no means are overpriced...The heads that you turn with them is PRICELESS needless to say the sound and torque to go with the absolute gorgeous appearance. Lets not forget the SUSPENSION and BRAKING system that most every person overlooks. Have you ever priced SALEEN BRAKING? I think they start out at $1200. How about yall looking up the specs on the SALEEN S281-E and see how slow that bad boy is. Yall may consider 13s slow and so do I for the price, but there are NO LIMITATIONS on those cars. All you have to do is upgrade the charger or exhaust...lets not forget it has to pass emissions and government laws from the factory. Thats the biggie....SALEENS are just like the 03 Cobras...you can take off **** (FREE MODS) and make it faster or you have invest a lil and get ridiculous HorsePower Ratings.

BOTTOM LINE: Saleens are worth every penny!!!!

Indeed. Its one hell of a supercar. Does anyone know how much they are? According to webpage I am linking you need $100,000 down on the car just to drive it off the lot, if its like most standard car lots then its gotta be 1/3rd down to drive it home which leads me to say, "GOOD GOD IS THIS CAR $300,000?!" If so then its well worth it if you can afford it :) The other competing Super Cars from ford are the Ford GT and the Ford GT90. Both are stunning and have a high price tag ;) As much as I love the GT40 this S7 just outshows the car. The GT40 is only $125,000 as well.

The GT40 sports a mid mounted Supercharged 4.8L V8 500hp 500ft-lbs tq engine.

The GT90 engineers have produced a 6L V12 from two Romeo V8's by cutting the front two cylenders off one block and the back two off the other and vacuum welding the two blocks together. They then built the block up accordingly and added a Quad Turbo setup to produce a mind blowing 720hp and 660ft-lbs tq, the goal they have set is for a unrealistic 900hp!

The Saleen S7 offers a mid mounted 7L V8 N/A engine that produces a WHOPPING 550hp and 520ft-lbs tq (LETS SLAP A HAIR DRYER ON DAT PUPPY) With this wide selection of super cars from 1 American Motor company it will keep is gawking and drooling for more and keep all of us playing the lotto.

The Ford GT is still my dream car.
Man I gotta get me all 3 :D

Beautiful Saleen S7

Ya, I know, but its still Ford based is the point. Its kinda like how Yenko was back in the 60's except much more modern. And instead of just modifying the performance of the car like Yenko, they actually developed a whole new car. Stop me if im wrong.
