Timing advancement?? Topic picks back up on page 4
What Exactly controls timing advance? Why do i ask you might say? I figured out today while had nothing to do at work that. When the engine idles high rpms the timing is advancing itself to about 30 degrees or so. Someone please tell me what is going on here so i fix this POS once and for all.

Let me get this stright, when your car is at idle the timing is 30 advanced?

dunno that is what im checking on, im thinkin the timing is to far advanced and if he pulls the spout connector out it will be around 18 or so advanced.

you need to pull it before you start the car. then read it with a light and see where it is. unplugging the spout is the only way to make the comp. respond to the new setting. then plug it back up and see wherre it is.

usually is 10* but sometimes it didn't come like that from the factory
