A lot of guys seem to get on here and ask stuff like " My car is running crappy what is wrong?" If you took your car to a mechanic and told him that he would laugh at you. We need more, like...
1. Year of car
2. Engine size
3. Carb size and type
4. Trans type.
5. mods done to the car.
6. What work has been done recently?
7 what are the exact symptoms and
8. When exactly do the symptoms occur?
9. what have your checked so far?
If your car is running crappy the first question you should ask yourself is, when is the last time I did a tune up? A lot can be corrected with just a basic tune up. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, condenser. Look at your plugs. What do they look like? Is it running rich? That should point you to the carb. Did you check for vacuum leaks. A lot of strange problems come from vacuum leaks. I love helping you guys I really do, I'm just saying, I need more info. If you want someone to take the time to help you diagnose your car please take the time to be as descriptive as possible. Post the results too. I'm always curious on how close we got to the problem. I'm not saying I know it all and I hope my statement is not taken that way. I learn stuff on here every day. That is why I come here. So, with that being said, bring on the symptoms!
