Default I think we have a winner...

I've been pulling my hair out for the last few months trying to come to terms with what ducktail kit I was gonna go with for my GT. I've been through periods of wanting the Roush, CDC, Street Scene, Cervini's, GEFRacing, then back to Roush, then back to Cervini............now, I think I have found my choice:

I'm gonna see if I can get the company to send me pics of it from some different angles, plus I still would like to know what materials its made out of.........but, I really love the lines on this kit. What do you guys think?

I still like the Roush, really. And its still on the table for me. I'm just tryin to find the ducktail that preserves the classic GT500 profile as much as possible. The only thing that turned me off a little about the Roush was the support struts on the backend....although, honestly...it probably wouldn't be a big deal on a black car. We'll see. I'm not sure how this new ducktail mounts up or if its even made of some good materials. We'll soon find out.
BTW.......do you know if the Roush spoiler covers up the stock spoiler holes offhand? I don't know exactly how that one mounts up either, and I'd like to know (in case I do go with the Roush). And lastly, where did you get that rear facia? It looks like the Roush bumper, but all the Roush's I see have those squarish cutouts above the exhaust. ???

Those side pieces would look really funny if they weren't molded to the body I think. Looks very tacky to have the pieces just sitting on there like that.

Its no worse than the CDC and Streetscene spoilers that have those tabs hanging over the sides of the tail lights.

If that is an RK Sport product you might want to check on the quality first. There are a few people posting issues with build quality and customer service issues etc about them.

Good luck.

I know a guy who is having a rear spoiler made to sell. It's just like the Roush spoiler except the back goes straight across. He used my car to do the fit test and is currently still working on getting it perfected. The pictures shows one fit test we did and the spoiler was NOT right at that time so keep that in mind. I'm still waiting for him to send me my spoiler. I don't know what price he plans to sell them for, or when he'll have them ready. He's been working on it for a long time already.

Who did you verify this with? According to the install instructions on the Roush web site it will.

You are correct, the holes will be covered up.
