Default RE: iPod wiring

I am trying to get better sound from my ipod. My radio tuner works really good sound wise and the cd player is excellent sound quality but the ipod reception is not very good compared to the radio tuner! Oh, I do have the car charger to recharge the ipod so I wouldn't necessarily have to wire in a charging power source since i have a good dock mounting place. I just need to know how, if possible, to get the ipod wired in off the amp/ stereo set-up if possible? I've heard that the wired fm modulators aren't that good and I would like to have better quality if possible, and I dont really want to buy a radio with the features like inputs for the ipod because then I have to spend more money for a radio.

Find an auxiliary input adapter for that head unit. They may make one...they may not.

If you can swap the radio for a good alpine (9855) or check out the DLO Wireless FM transmitter, this is one of the best ones on the market, although it retails for 99.99 at ur local Best Buy, But just to let u know ur never gonna get the same reception as a regular CD, the signal is not as strong. But i would look at just getting a radio that has an aux input or a radio that has a tuner box, Ex the alpine 9856 has a full speed interface for 29.99 that will give u the best sound possible form the Ipod. If u have any other questions go to ur local audio shop and ask a few questions.
