You'll have to get a hold of Saleen to find out how many of that color with those options were built that year. The Saleen Book only lists bumper number, last three of VIN, build date and options that were ordered with the car.

96-380 is listed with a last 3 Ford VIN of 675, convertible, built 8-28-96. Shows 3.55 rear gear, speedster, Ford Leather, and Black Top.
Original Poster mentioned cloth Recaros - book says Ford Leather...

well damn, that sucks...i'm only the 3rd owner, but somewhere i guess they ditched the leather and hard cover...Any way to tell if it had the heat extractor hood or just the reg gt hood?

I found this post regarding a 1989 Saleen Mustang # 542 VIN 1FABP41E3KF220843 on here on Mustangs Forums in 7/07. I was absolutly shocked to find my dads old Saleen "White Lightening". The VIN and description is a perfect match! He bought it in 1991 and sold it in 2001 with 26k miles. I have desperately been trying to track it down. This car has always meant so much to me and it was sold behind my back. If you could email or call me with any information it would mean the world to me.

Just bought a 1997 Saleen S281. It is one of the Budget cars. Just curious if the book had anymore to offer than what the lady from Saleen had to tell me when I called.

64B matches up with a 681 Vin #.
Options with Spotbar, mags, black top.

hey guys.i have an 01 saleen number 01-0746 , last numbers of vin 178274. i have the letter of authenticity from liz and it's listed as 1 of a kind with these colors and options so i want to see what it comes up on the registry.
