Hello everyone. I live in Lumberton, TX (about 5 miles north of Beaumont). I am originally from Claremore, OK and moved to the Beaumont area 2 1/2 years ago. We have a good car club here call Wild Horse Mustang Club.

Wait a minute! I didn't say I was a Texan. I said I live in Texas. There is a big difference. I will ALWAYS be a Sooner first. I have learned to tolerate the UT fans, actually I have learned to ignore them (j/k, LOL). It is good to have a little rivalry to stir the pot a little bit. As long as it is in the proper context.

I don't think so. We kicked your butt 5 years in a row! It'll get back to the usual real quick. It's actuall pretty fun because all of the friends I have made here in Texas are horn fans.

hahah well I guess we will just have to wait and see who's right here ;) Now that vince will be gone no telling...

that must be awkward having friends who are all agains your team. I kind of know what that is like though...I'm a huge Astros fan and my bf grew up in St Louis and is a huge Cards fan...can you imagine the strain on our relationship that is?? Well...only during the summer months

What do you expect. I am from the Tulsa area, so I am an OU fan. St. Louis is closer to home than the Astros, therefore, I am a Cardinals fan.

Get this. This throws most people off. I also graduated from Okie State.

Nice! How long have you had her & what have you done so far? Spill the details, man!

There's just nothing sexier than the '69. You're a very lucky guy.

I've had the car for almost a year. It is a California car. It was brought to Texas in September of '04 and I bought it in April of '05. I really haven't done anything to it except take off the Boss 302 stripes that were put on it. I need to get a set of sport mirrors to put on. I just took out the original 302 that has 91,000 original miles. I built a 351W that I will be putting in over the next couple of weeks. I need to weld in a patch fender apron panel where the battery sits. Other than that, the car is as I bought it, all original.

I don't think there is a better looking Mustang than the '69 model.
