I am from Houston, so I know where you are. Be sure to read the rules and have fun. MustangJessica 03-06-2006, 07:52 PM Welcome! I'm a Texan too...eek your an OU fan! thats not good...lol j/k I'm a UT fan :p xRockThePonyx 03-06-2006, 08:13 PM Welcome!! OUFan22 03-06-2006, 10:57 PM ORIGINAL: MustangJessica Welcome! I'm a Texan too...eek your an OU fan! thats not good...lol j/k I'm a UT fan :p Wait a minute! I didn't say I was a Texan. I said I live in Texas. There is a big difference. I will ALWAYS be a Sooner first. I have learned to tolerate the UT fans, actually I have learned to ignore them (j/k, LOL). It is good to have a little rivalry to stir the pot a little bit. As long as it is in the proper context. MustangJessica 03-07-2006, 01:30 AM hehe..thats ok, ignore all you want, we kicked your butts! and will do it again next year too :D OUFan22 03-07-2006, 01:40 AM I don't think so. We kicked your butt 5 years in a row! It'll get back to the usual real quick. It's actuall pretty fun because all of the friends I have made here in Texas are horn fans. MustangJessica 03-07-2006, 01:55 AM hahah well I guess we will just have to wait and see who's right here ;) Now that vince will be gone no telling... that must be awkward having friends who are all agains your team. I kind of know what that is like though...I'm a huge Astros fan and my bf grew up in St Louis and is a huge Cards fan...can you imagine the strain on our relationship that is?? :D Well...only during the summer months OUFan22 03-07-2006, 01:57 AM Your bf and I might get along since I am a big Cardinals fan too! MustangJessica 03-07-2006, 01:59 AM hahaha oh jeez...you definitely arent winning brownie points with me here buddy...tsk tsk tsk OUFan22 03-07-2006, 02:02 AM What do you expect. I am from the Tulsa area, so I am an OU fan. St. Louis is closer to home than the Astros, therefore, I am a Cardinals fan. Get this. This throws most people off. I also graduated from Okie State. randy78045 03-07-2006, 02:04 AM ORIGINAL: OUFan22 Hello everyone. I live in Lumberton, TX (about 5 miles north of Beaumont). How long have you had her & what have you done so far? Spill the details, man!:D There's just nothing sexier than the '69. You're a very lucky guy. OUFan22 03-07-2006, 02:18 PM I've had the car for almost a year. It is a California car. It was brought to Texas in September of '04 and I bought it in April of '05. I really haven't done anything to it except take off the Boss 302 stripes that were put on it. I need to get a set of sport mirrors to put on. I just took out the original 302 that has 91,000 original miles. I built a 351W that I will be putting in over the next couple of weeks. I need to weld in a patch fender apron panel where the battery sits. Other than that, the car is as I bought it, all original. OUFan22 03-17-2006, 09:48 AM ORIGINAL: BlkWidow Nice! I don't think there is a better looking Mustang than the '69 model. antiv6 03-17-2006, 01:07 PM wow thats an awesome car Moparman87 03-19-2006, 02:27 AM Hey Welcome to Mustangforums.com OUFan22 03-22-2006, 01:46 PM Thanks for all the nice comments. jesterj99 03-22-2006, 10:52 PM welcome to the forums sweet ride keep us posted on any work done! rbstang 03-24-2006, 12:06 AM [sm=welcomesign.gif] CharlieHorse 03-24-2006, 12:18 PM welcome! :D OUFan22 03-27-2006, 04:02 PM I finally got my new motor put in but don't have everything hooked up yet. I had to order some headers because the two pair I had both hit the steering box. Hopefully I will get it fired up either this weekend or the following weekend. |
