I've heard and read a lot of things that people say about the 3.8. Such as "its slow and crappy" "a 3.8L and it only has 150hp?!?!". Is the engine that bad? if so why?

193 actually... and that's to the flywheel... not the REAR wheels... When someone says that they have 200 horses... more often than not it's 200 at the wheels since that's the only place where you can measure it on a dyno.............. why do v6s get bashed? I don't know... because people think that after the electric turbo mod and a cai and a ship from ebay v6s can outrun v8s... and it probably gets annoying after a while of this going on. I won a v6... I'm working it... slowly... but I'm not under the impression that I'm only doing it so I can smoke a GT...

yes they can be, only after spending the thousands that were not utilized to be able to afford the V8....what common sense is that........beisdes v6 are slow as hell and they sound like Civics

sry to bust your chops but the new stangs aint much of a muscle car, they are sports cars or "sporty" cars, how ever u wanna put it, the old old stangs where muscle, and as for why people bash the v6, same reason they bash the 4cyl, for some reason havin those extra cylinders makes em think they are king Sh*t, ya maybe in a drag horse is everything, but u got to a real race and ask the good drivers, they will say power aint everything. so w/e live long 4 bangin stangs!!
