Default 1995 w/ 383w stroker

Hey all...building a 1995 gt w/ a 351w stroked to a 383. Edelbrock almost throughout...wondering what to do about exhaust. I already have flowmasters and an aftermarket h-pipe. I'm debating on whether or not to use long tube headers. I'll have to take it to an exhaust shop for the mods to the h-pipe...and i'll also have to break in my flat tappet cam w/ open headers...pretty loud!!

I hear that long tubes are better...but bbk makes a set of shortys that are specific for this engine swap (351 into a 94-95).

Anyone have any advice on whether or not long tubes are worth the hassle??

I concur, long tubes make the biggest gain.
