I'm I the only one that has a problem with the fact that for the money of the Hurst, all you are getting is a slightly upgraded version of your stock shifter with a little cf and shorter throw?? Why not just buy the hurst stick and ball and put it on your stock shifter and have all the looks without the $$$$.

Do you know if this can be done?

Yes - one of the MF sponsors (pro mustang performance) can get you just the stick and ball and it is identical to factory and will bolt right in. I personally like the hurst stick and ball and think that is the best way to go. It's a lot of money for a shorter throw and that's really all you're getting for your money. When I orginally bought the hurst, I purchased it from Ford racing and their version DOESN'T COME WITH THE STICK AND BALL (yeah - stupid) and pro mustang performance did the leg work for me and tracked down just the stick and ball so I know he can get them for ya....
Correct me if I'm wrong...but isn't the point to buying a short shifter to shorthen the throw?? I like the way the Hurst looks but I want to shorten the throw....that's the primary reason.
Does that mean the 5.0 and the TriAx are not worth the $$$ as well????
