The only ones with any kind of balls are the new ones. 232Stanger 07-06-2003, 04:04 AM im a 17 year old, snagged the car from an uncle for 1000, not many options 232Stanger 07-06-2003, 04:05 AM that would really only cost 350? i was looking at stuff that couldve cost over 1000 without installation</P> </P> flit 07-06-2003, 04:12 AM DAYUM SON!!!!! Look before you buy. Ask questions. Save money. 232Stanger 07-06-2003, 05:58 AM <IMG src=smileys/smiley9.gif border="0"> hmmm, good thing i started going on forums, so a catalytic h-pipe and flowmasters for 350?</P><edited><editID>232Stanger</editID><editDate>37808.1661689815</editDate></edited> robwazhere 07-06-2003, 07:27 AM yeah. its not gonna be pretty though. but it'll work. no balls? mines getting 327 hp and 323 tq at the wheels. robwazhere 07-06-2003, 07:29 AM and including what i paid for it, i have only 12,000 into it. EvilKenevil 07-06-2003, 03:30 PM thats pretty sweet what are your other mods? yeyo 07-10-2003, 03:47 AM Those are good numbers!!! 327HP / 323TQ tripsevn7 07-10-2003, 05:11 AM that is some really high numbers.. what are your times.. 327 at the rear wheels. how much boost.... robwazhere 07-11-2003, 02:10 AM 12 psi</P> i normally only run like 13.2-13.4 cuz im lazy and i dont bother adjusting my suspension for drag racing, i have it set up to carv corners. so i spin in first second and chorp loadly third. one time i did however setyup my suspension properly, borrowewd slicks, and put in some notromethane, and cranked off a 12.61. and i screwed everything up too. avoide notromethane. i got the eaton m90 blower with an intercooler, bassani headerts back(custom), 8.8 rear with 3.55, all sorts of suspension shizit, and more stuff i cant think of right now.</P> robwazhere 07-11-2003, 02:12 AM jeez, tired and/or drunk makles lots of spelling errors Jugador1 07-11-2003, 02:14 AM got your cobra yet? by the way that's a mad ass 6er! robwazhere 07-11-2003, 02:19 AM 327 at 5320, and 323 at 5250</P> robwazhere 07-11-2003, 02:20 AM yeah. thanks. got it last weekend. <IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">is all i have to say about that.<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"> Jugador1 07-11-2003, 02:22 AM cool robwazhere 07-11-2003, 02:28 AM i havent driven it enougth and my thoughts arent coherent enough to really give an opinion on it yet. ive grannyed it so far, but theres definantly more than than in the sixer. jeep45238 07-11-2003, 02:34 AM 12 psi</p> iand put in some notromethane, and cranked off a 12.61. Something's really fishy there...... Jugador1 07-11-2003, 02:35 AM give us a time on that bad boy! jeep45238 07-11-2003, 02:39 AM You don't just "borrow" some nitromethan. It requires to totally re-tune the car. A/F "sweet spots" are totally different, bushings should always be replaced with softer ones to cushion the blow on the crank. Maybe "nitrous oxide", but no way nitromethane for just that (go read up Hot Rod magazine's article on it, and you'll see why I'm thinking somethings up with it). robwazhere 07-11-2003, 03:10 AM yeah, i borrowed the slicks and im into all sorts of racing, and i have ready access to nitromethane and propelene oxide, and like i said, i screwed the car up, and i wasnt running straight up nitro, a little can be like a power adder. and i did it without first consulting my dad/carbuilder/adviser and almost destroyed the engine by running to lean. but yes, i did put n/m in the tank, but as an additive, not as a fuel. we do it in our racing karts all the time in the outlaw class. quite legal, and i thought i'de get the same results in my car.</P> the time was 12.61. but i'm more into making corners than going into a straight line so im not to concerned about drag racing.</P> jeep45238 07-11-2003, 10:30 AM 2 words next time TUNE JUICE robwazhere 07-12-2003, 03:42 AM yeah im thinking about a 50 shot for the sixer. but it'll probably find its way onto the cobra jeep45238 07-13-2003, 02:09 AM You can transplant the kits fairly easily. Redline5th 07-18-2003, 07:55 PM Go with the flowmasters... Jugador1 07-18-2003, 07:57 PM yep...go with the flow lol |
