Upgrading Heads

Is it possible to upgrade the 2v heads on my stang to the newer 3v heads. If that is possible what kind of boost in performance am i looking at? And just a general guess what might this run me $$ wise.

if you have a v6 no you can't upgrade i fyou have a 4.6 forget the 3v go with a 4v

I thought i read somewhere the 3v for whatever reason was able to flow better than the 4v

from what i read even the 96-98 (worst flowing) 4v still flow better than the 3v.

y is it that thats only able to be done to the 4.6 and not the 3.8 are you just saying that to be one of those funny GT guys who says that the 3.8s are worthless or is there an actual technical reason.

no i am saying that the 3v heads won't fit on a 3.8 theres a extra cylinder on there.

Haha, also it's a completely different engine... And tim has a point... there's an extra cylinder per side there. Kinda the same reason why us GT guys can't put Ferraris' heads on our motors.

are there other types of 2v heads can i put in my 3.8 to get more performance. since adding an extra valve per head is out of the question.
