An 03-04 Cobra will destroy an Sti, i have seen it. At my college there are 3 wrx sti's and 1 wrx with Sti badging (can you say rice), a guy i know came up for the weekend with an 03 Cobra (catback, CAI, and steeda pulley) and smoked every single one of them, it was ugly

Now I'm sad.... Its common knowledge around here that the 03-04 cobras are running mid 12s stock with descent drivers. Thats faster turbo supras (I think they made those stock), LS1 SS/WS6, EVO (any #), and STi's (remember, we are talking stock for all these cars you about to be angry LS1 guys  )
All these cars are in the 13s in their stock forms. The STi is mid 13s with a good driver (even though I dont think any subaru or EVO driver has an excuse with AWD, but thats just my opinion).

i dont understand why ford doesnt make any of the stangs DOHC besides the cobra. its been proven that they can push out close to or sometimes atleast 50 extra hp just by making it DOHC as we saw with the 99 GT vs the 99 cobra. and some other previous year cobras.

for 02 the stock wrx came with 227 hp and 0-60 times are around 5.9.I owned a 6 cylinder stang and is was a stick and even with perfect shifting would no way in hell keep up with a wrx especially once the turbo spools up.I test drove one and they do have a little turbo lag but over 3500 rps see ya later. There a light car with AWD with means it wont spin of the line.Now for the STi well ya better get your self into a S/C cobra cause they run 13.1@105 mph in the 1/4

And an STi vs a 03-04 Cobra is a very close race. I will say that the Cobra wil edge it out, but its not a huge blow out. The STi's are very fast cars.

My freind has a 04 cobra, pullie exhaust intake, re raced a 02 WRX, he had us off the line by about 2 cars (AWD really lauches good) but we caught up and ended up 3 cars on him in a rough 1/4 mile, they dont have much past 60, so that answer your question lol..hint hint no you dont have a chance, ever, sorry to say...there fast cars
