In general, what is the consensus on brand quality?

Eibach is apparently the market leader, but we have a lot of choices - FRPP, Intrax, Eibach, Steeda, Moroso, Maxspeed etc.

Are any of these crap? Brands to avoid? Bang for the buck? So many questions.....

I have seen 3 different springs in a new set of Eibachs...

I would rather have H & R...

I have good results with Eibach, H&R, Steeda and Ford Racing...

We have sold all those brands for years.... and have had pretty good results with all.

Each spring from those manufacturers is different. They have different spring rates, drops, applications, etc.

There are definitely brands to avoid... many of the smaller spring companies make springs which sag, have lower spring ratings, and just degrade over time.

If you stick to the brands I suggested above, you usually cannot go wrong...

I think you may be going about this backwards.

I would first decide what you want out of the spring, and not worry about the brand...

1. do you want the springs for looks?
2. do you want the springs for performance?
3. Ride comfort vs. Handling/Performance
4. Progressive rate spring vs. linear rate spring?
5. Do you have shocks/struts?

The above items are things to think about... then that should help you decide what spring you want....

I have someone that wants to sell me some slightly used Intrax springs for $100 or so.
I want handling/performance and looks in that order. Couldn't give a hoot about ride quality - if it rides like a wagon but handles like it's on rails, I can deal. I want the car to be slightly raked with 2" down in front and a little less than that in back. The Intrax set I'm looking it calls for 2" all the way around, and he has the same set on his 94GT and it looks tough. I have to be careful because I am running 335's in the back, but my lips are rolled and they don't rub now.
I will be getting shocks a struts. You and I talked about Tokico, so I'm leaning that route.
