Default A few pics after wheels/exhaust install

Borrowed my girlfriends camera and snapped a couple of pics my mustang this weekend. I've had the wheels and dual exhaust on for about a week and really like the new look:

P.S. - Do I need to serve my own .jpg to have a pic in my sig or can I upload one?

Your bumper looks great where you trimmed the left side. Did you do it yourself? If so, how hard was it and what was the process you used. My muffler guy seems kind of sketchy about trimming the bumper and I don't know if I could get it right myself.

Yes the wheels were the bullit take-offs from Saleen. I reused my ford logo spinner center caps from the 16s, but I am going to buy the tri-bar pony spinners soon.

The bumper was really quite easy to do. First I took a sheet of printer paper (something thin) and masking taped it over the hole on the right hand side. (The muffler needs to be taken off first). Make sure it is tight and completely contours the bumper. Then, from the front, carefully trace the edge of the hole onto the paper (thats why I used thin paper). Now cut out the trace and you have the exact shape you will be cutting. Next, neatly put a layer of masking tape onto the left hand side of the bumper covering the entire area. Next you will flip the cutout over and trace it on the masking tape on the bumper, but first you need to measure. There is a small painted tab under the bumper about 5 inches away from the hole on each side. Perfect reference point. Measure the distance from it to the hole on the right, and then place the edge of your cutout that distance away on the left. Measure a few times (say 20? haha, I measuread a TON of times to be sure) then trace the cutout onto the masking tape.

Now you're ready to cut... This is actually the easiest part (although most nervous!) I used a dremel with a cutting bit. Be sure not to turn the speed up too high or it will melt the plastic. Practice a little on the area that will be removed to get your feel, then cut the hole out leaving maybe 1/8" from the actual edge. Then just grind off the excess with the same bit. Mine came out completely clean and smooth, but I went ahead and sanded lightly with 400 grit. I'm still waiting on touch-up paint from my dealer so I can paint the inside edge that is now black my body color. Not really needed, but I am extremely anal about stuff like this. I think the end look is great. I have a GT take-off exhaust system and I love how the pipes actually stick out a little bit. Plus, I don't want to put any GT body pieces on my car, I want the V6 body look.

I got kinda crazy and dremeled my stock antenna in half because I hated its length, but the end was too sharp and I couldn't get the ball off the tip to replace it, so I just bought a 14" black one from mustang tuning. Looks a lot better.

As soon as the weather plays nice and I can get my car really clean, the dual 10" black shelby style stripes that I bought are going on! (by a vinyl installer)

They were slightly poppy at higher revs when I first put them on, but now they just have a nice deep growl. I love the sound and the price. I am dying to hear them with the top down!!!! I honestly don't understand why people are wasting so much money on Magnaflows and JBAs and Flowmasters when they sound worse than a GT takeoff system.
