Yeh GTOs cant hang, and its to damm bad cause they use to be bad ass cars. For the mustang exhuast eater you cant be bringing that s*** in here and expect anyone to bite man, maybe in the colbalt forums. So take your over weight hairy-ass goat and stop with the madness you speak of.

yeah no ****. but seriously the GTSlow is a ****in tank. drove one and was very dissapointed. Not only to they only put about about 330-340hp but they weight the same as a minivan.

I own a 2005 GTO, not here to talk smack. On the issue of wheel hop, the 05-06 has almost none, now the 04 had tons of wheel hop.
I haven't raced any 03-04 Cobras, so I really don't know how it would fair, stock vs. stock. Now I have seen at the track a supercharged 05 GTO and 04 Cobra go at it, unfortuanetly for you all the GTO did win, by a pretty big margin, but that was with a magna charger, putting down 525 rwhp, and carbon fiber everything..LOL Damn rich kids. LOL
I think the cobras are awesome, was gonna get one, but my insurance went up quiet a bit. Bought the GTO and dropped my insurance 100 dollars. Good thing they class it as a luxury sports car, and that is exactly what it is. Was driving a supercharged 01 GT.

This topic is quite old and the origional poster never said who won? So, who did? Did your Cobra take the GTO or not? Don't start a thread and not finish it.. WTF?

What the hell happened, but we should figure that the cobra won anyway. If not, he should by law forced to give his car to charity and sevre 58 days in county and/or $250,000 in fines.

+100. the cobra is faster than the GTO any way u look at it, launches better plus has more power up on the top end. also, the cobra is one of the best looking cars ever made IMO. the new GTO is a goat. dont get me wrong, GTO's are nice, and they pull like crazy (LS2's), but when compared to an 03/04 cobra, they walk home with their tail between their legs. then again, pretty much anything pales in comparison to a terminator cobra. including my pathetic 3V.
