For those interested in the new Fang V6 chin spoiler, I got an e-mail from the owner of Fang with an answer to our questions. 1) What is it made of? - The spoiler is being made of hand-layered fiberglass (very tough and firm). 2) It will come gel-coated a satin black. He said that if you want it black you'll probably still want to paint it black anyway, but if you get rock chip it won't show as bad. It can be painted any color if you want to match your car. 3) They don't plan on offering pre-painted ones. Too many quality issues. Shipping scratches, color matching etc. So, that's the latest info. Cost will be $250, ready to ship in a couple of weeks. Really nice looking chin spoiler. Painted black it will look like the early Mach 1s. www.fangperformance.com

nice info appreciate it. Ill get one in two weeks then or maybe close to when I leave so that way ill have it in june. Hopefully painting it wont be that expensive shouldnt anyway. I wish they would prepaint it I mean it wont matter to me My car rarely sees the the sun and is covered all the time. Maybe Ill email them as see if they can do some kind of exception.

I'd love to see how that comes out. Mine's the windveil blue but I feel the same way. Cayuse, are you going to leave it black? With your blackout panel, rocker stripes, and ragtop it would probably look good black, huh?

Tim

Yes, I'm going with a satin black on mine. Like you said, I'm tying in the black of the rockers, blackout panel, and decal. And ragtop as well. Later this summer I plan on having black racing stripes painted. In between I hope to add black CDC lightbar, and ducktail if $$$$ allow. Shoild look good I hope.
