I'm curious, is there a hold behind the Ford badge on the 99-04 trunk? I want to shave the emblems off and I know there are behind the tri-bar and ponys.

I have a 2004 GT, and I just put new badges on the front fenders. They had holes. I left it in the sun during the hottest part of the day, about 85 degrees or so. I used some waxed dental floss, and that really helped. There wasn't much glue residue at all. I rolled it up with my finger by rubbing really hard. There were also holes behind the Ford oval, but not behind the GT badge on the rear. I moved one of the 40th anniversary badges to where the GT badge was on the rear. Then I wondered why I didn't just remove the Ford oval instead...so I did. I reapplied the GT badge where the Ford oval was. With the new and moved badges, I get asked a if I have some kind of special edition Mustang or something. Here's a pic from the rear. The bumper inserts are actually reflective black and not white or gold. They just picked up the flash. Thumbnail Image
