Default me vs. late 80's Camaro

Well wasnt really a race. I was on my way to work and this Camaro pulls out of the gas station onto the road I was on, and I pass him going like 50 and then all the sudden hes right next to me and I punch it and so does he, he was murderized. He had Edelbrock and Holley stickers, but I guess he wasnt packin what he was advertising.

I love the late 8o's camaro's but they don't pack that much heat. 215 at the motor I beleive. They got better tq. They seem fast but compared to the new V6's these day's they really arent' Ive been waiting to run ito one. Was it an RS or Z28?

the v6 and v8 models of that car both are slow. i think the v8 camaros of the 80s ran something like 16's or 17's

A 350TPI with the G92 rear will give any 14 second car a hard time.

As for the 305TPI & TBI, they are 16 secnod monsters stock, unless you find a 5 speed 305TPI.

I have a buddy who has like an 87 camaro... has a 305 TBI.... OMG that kid is a fag... no longer really friends with him. last mods I heard it had a cam in it and cutouts. He took me for a ride and buried the pedal. All that I noticed was loud.

It's a neat car nonetheless. And the last last I heard of the car was it's gutted with all the wheels off and up on stands in his garage.

He started going to UTI and turned into a jerk. oh well,

George
